Until 1993, in Moscow, cars of law enforcement agencies had series numbers MOL, MOS, MKM and MKS. The cars of senior officials of the USSR Ministry of Internal Affairs had MAS series numbers, but since the late 80s this series began to be used only in the Magadan region.
