With the advent of specialized websites on the Internet, sales of used cars through advertisements in newspapers or through car centers have almost completely become a thing of the past. Among the most common resources where you can choose the best option are avito.ru, auto.ru, drom.ru. When placing an ad, the seller indicates a number of mandatory information about the car, as well as his contact phone number.

Using the phone number, you can check what advertisements this seller has previously posted. If over a short period of time he has put up many cars for sale, it is obvious that you are dealing with a professional reseller. In this case, there is a high risk of encountering an attempt to deceive or outright fraud.

There is no point in checking your phone number manually, as you can use special online services. For example, a fairly large amount of information can be obtained through the Avinfo service. Please note that this resource is currently blocked by Roskomnadzor for users from Russia, but you can easily bypass this restriction using a VPN.
