To activate this type of service, just dial *137# on your smartphone, or use the company’s proprietary mobile application, available for Android and iOS-based gadgets. In addition, you can enable this type of service through your personal account on the official website of the mobile operator Yota.
The new option is called "Network Name". Immediately after connecting this option, an SMS message will be sent to your phone number confirming the application for a name change. After this, for the new name to take effect, you must restart your mobile device or other gadget, and after that the new network name will begin to display. It is noted that the name of the network selected by the user as desired is valid within Russia, while when traveling to other countries of the world, the name of the local cellular service, which operates in a specific country of service for subscribers, will begin to be displayed. The launched service is available for use starting today, May 27, 2020, and anyone can connect to it.
It is important to understand that you need to pay money for this opportunity exactly once, that is, by changing the name of the network, then you will not have to pay anything extra for it. To return everything back so that the Yota name is displayed again, you should simply disable the service and reboot the electronic device. This mobile operator was not the first to offer this kind of opportunity to Russian residents. Not long ago it launched a similar opportunity, and it is available for 249 rubles, and the maximum length of the network name cannot exceed 10 characters.
