How to attach a license plate to a car in a frame: installation instructions, photo

How to remove the number frame?

A license plate confirming state registration is an important attribute of any car.
Appearing on the roads without license plates is fraught with serious consequences for the car owner (from a large fine to deprivation of rights for 3 months). Therefore, he must take care to prevent such unpleasant situations. Today, for attaching license plates, license plates are used, special structures made of metal or high-strength plastic that do not lose their mechanical properties over a wide temperature range.

Functions of number frames

The functionality of the number frames is as follows:

In addition, car dealers use license plate frames as advertising platforms for their own services; for this purpose, they make custom car frames with their own logos and contact information. That is why the production of frames for license plates and installation on cars is in increasing demand.

How to remove the number frame?

Situations often arise when it is necessary to remove the license plate, and often the frame holding it, this can happen, for example, in the case of:

If you do not take into account anti-vandal frames, the dismantling of which is best left to specialists, then to remove ordinary license plate frames, you need to get to the fasteners that secure them to the body or bumper. To do this, first of all, you need to remove the license plate. It is at this point that most motorists encounter difficulties, since the license plate is attached using special latches. At this step, the burning question appears: “How to remove the number frame?”

How to deposit license plates when selling a car?

Cost: 5,700 rubles – 2,850 when changing license plates to others and the same amount when registering another car and receiving saved license plates.

So, the first thing we need to know is that there is no separate service for storing license plates at the State Traffic Inspectorate. That is, they can only be submitted during any registration action. The simplest of these actions is replacing license plates with others. In this case, the old ones can be left for 360 days. This is where the solution to the issue of submitting registration marks lies before selling a car, and not during the transaction itself.

It is important to know that you need to deposit the license plates in advance of selling the car, since the latter can only be sold with plates. Therefore, you need to change them first and only then sell them with new ones.

The procedure is as follows:

  1. you contact the traffic police with an application to change the license plates, in which you indicate the need to deposit the old ones,
  2. you are given new license plates, the old ones are accepted for safekeeping for 360 days,
  3. you are selling a car with new license plates,
  4. During the storage period, you will definitely need to buy the car in order to pick up and attach the saved registration plates to it.

To submit an application through the State Services portal to change registration marks, go to the appropriate service on the website and fill out the application by clicking the appropriate button:

Application for storing license plates through State Services when selling a car

Accordingly, indicate in the form that you need to receive new numbers without specifying a combination of letters and numbers (they are needed when receiving a license plate after storage).

Obtaining new state licenses for public services

You can also download an application for changing license plates with deposit for submission directly to the traffic police, not through the State Administration portal. In this case, the application will directly indicate the need to store the numbers.

  • (DOCX format).
  • .

The next step is to sell the car with new license plates, while the old ones remain in your storage. After purchasing another car, you will need to register it and receive the license plates, which are in storage. To do this, go to one of the services:

  • registration of a new car,
  • registration of used cars.

And similarly, in field No. 6, indicate that you need to obtain state registration plates, indicating a combination of their letters and numbers in the field that appears. Please note that it is not necessary to fill in the “state type” field. reg. sign" - this is for transit numbers.

How to open the number frame?

A manufacturer that produces car accessories usually adheres to certain standards, because license plate frames must take into account the standard dimensions of the license plates themselves and match the design of the car body (bumper). However, with regard to design features, the flight of design imagination is less limited. Therefore, the method of fixing the sign on license plate frames from different manufacturers may differ significantly. The main obstacle to opening the number frame is a lack of understanding of its design and the location of the locking latches.

Of course, if the frame was installed by the car owner himself, he can remember the assembly sequence and try to open it in the reverse order, following the instructions. The easiest way to remove the frame is when the car frame is damaged and requires replacement with a new one. Considering that the retail price of a new accessory is from 120 to 200 rubles, the thought of repairing it is unlikely to occur to anyone. In this case, you can remove the license plate by simply breaking the structure completely.

To open the number frame carefully and without damage, you need to carefully familiarize yourself with its design, installation instructions (manufacturers usually post them on their websites), arm yourself with a thin knife that will allow you to determine the location of the latches and a slotted screwdriver that will help unfasten the latches. Be patient, and, of course, rely on your own intuition.

And it is quite likely that everything will work out. If you have frames manufactured by AEP, installation instructions can be found on the manufacturer's website.

Find out how to remove license plates from a car

Typically, license plates are installed by a dealer or a specialist at a car service center. Therefore, when selling a car, restoring or painting bumpers, some drivers are faced with the question of how to remove license plates from a car without damaging anything.

The procedure can be done independently, and in rare cases it takes a long time.

Why do you need a dealer license plate frame?

Look at your license plate? Is everything okay with him? Look carefully at the license plate frame. Don't notice anything? Unfortunately, on most cars that drive on Russian roads today, on the license plate frame there is an advertisement for the dealer where the new car was purchased. You are not annoyed that someone else's advertising is free on your machine. For example, the inscription on the frame Musa Motors or the like?

If there is a frame

The frame itself is made of plastic. The license plate in the frame at the top and at the ends is pressed with hooks that hold it in a given position. At the bottom there is a wide strip that is removed before removing the license plates from the car.

Frames for license plates are available in several versions, which differ in the way the lower removable strip is attached.

Option 1

The strip is attached from the back to one latch along its entire length.
To remove it, just bend the frame with the number slightly towards you and use your fingers to pry the strip from behind towards the bumper. The latch comes unfastened and the strip is removed. The number is carefully removed from the fixing hooks using a top-down motion. To simplify the task, use a flat-head screwdriver.

Option 2

The bottom strip is first inserted into the end grooves, then fixed in the middle with two latches.

Dismantling the strip proceeds in the reverse order:

The number is removed from the frame, as in the first option.

Option 3

In this design, there are 2 locks securing it on the bottom strip. The sign is tightly inserted into the grooves located at the top and bottom along the entire length of the frame.

To remove a number, the locks on the bottom of the frame are opened towards the center.

The bar is lowered, removing the lower part of the sign from the groove. To release the upper part, just insert a screwdriver into the holes on the number, rest it against the plastic of the frame and lower it down. The number has been removed.

If there is no frame

Car owners who are not satisfied with the frames attach the numbers to the bumper with screws or rivets.
In the first case, to remove the sign it is enough to use a screwdriver. If the screw has become stuck and will not come off, it is better to immediately treat it with WD-40, wait 5 minutes and try again.

Rivets and self-tapping screws with licked heads are carefully drilled out. It is not recommended to use a grinder, as there is a high probability of damaging the surface of the sign during work.

Drilling is carried out while protecting your eyes with goggles.

Possible problems and nuances

Sometimes the old frame cannot be disassembled. In this case, its end is heated with a hairdryer until softened and bent, the number is removed.

When selling a car, if there is no desire to keep the existing number, it is torn off without unnecessary ceremony. The main thing is that the symbols printed on it are visible.

Issues relating to motorists' rights are often more important than they appear at first glance. A driver may lose his license or suffer other severe penalties due to ignorance or misinterpretation of laws and regulations. Do not be lazy to dive deeply into the essence of the issue being studied, do not hesitate to ask advice from professionals.

Transfer cost

When carrying out such a transfer, you will need to pay several state fees. Let's figure out how much it will cost. Re-registration of an old car with new numbers:

  • issuance of a new STS – 500 rubles;
  • making changes to the PTS – 350 rubles;
  • The state duty for issuing new license plates is 2,000 rubles.

Registration of a new car with your old license plates: completely the same amount. The total cost of removing and installing a car while keeping the license plates is 5,700 rubles.

Reference! The amount may be reduced by 30% if you submit an application and pay fees through the State Services portal.

Then issuing a new registration certificate will cost 350 rubles, making changes to the PTS will cost 245 rubles, and you will have to pay 1,400 rubles instead of two thousand for new registration plates for the car. We multiply the amount by two - we get 3990 rubles. Quite noticeable savings, and also very convenient.

Retaining the plates will, of course, require twice as much activity and costs as the usual sale of the car along with the plates. However, if you really want or need to transfer registration plates to a new car, then it is worth it. And most importantly, everything is done on an absolutely legal basis : you just need to devote a little time and the amount of money needed to pay the duties.

It is not always easy to understand documents written in dry legal language. We recommend that you look at our materials on whether it is possible to cancel the registration of a car without a vehicle, what may be the reasons for deregistering a car with the traffic police, how to complete this procedure if the car is in another city or region, if the vehicle is arrested, using the State Services portal, and Also:

  • How to draw up a power of attorney and statement correctly?
  • How to obtain a certificate for the tax service when moving to another country?

How to install or replace license plate, parts and mounting locations

The rules allow the number plates to be installed in a frame, unless the registration plate is additionally covered with plexiglass. The frames are attached to the bumper with self-tapping screws and have several types of latches for fixing the plate with the number.

Each vehicle that is permitted to operate on the roads has an individual registration plate. The license plate is issued by the traffic police department and is a steel plate with embossed numbers and letters. The car owner is obliged to install it on the car in accordance with the rules. You can attach license plates to a new car with a frame yourself, after first checking the technical regulations.

Application form

To replace information about the owner, fill out a standard application that includes the following information:

  • a type of transport that can be represented not only by a car, but also by a bus or trailer;
  • personal information about the owner, which includes full name, gender, contact information, telephone number, passport details, TIN and place of residence;
  • it is indicated whether new signs are needed, and this paragraph allows you to leave the numbers for storage in the traffic police through State Services, therefore the need to transfer signs to a specific department is indicated;
  • actions that need to be performed with the PTS, for example, you need to make adjustments to the current document or obtain new documentation;
  • vehicle category and its description, therefore the model, color, body number and VIN are indicated;
  • PTS details;
  • information from the title documentation on the basis of which the person received ownership of the car;
  • insurance policy details;
  • date and time of car registration.

Attention! After filling out this application, a new document form appears, on the basis of which you can leave the numbers through State Services when selling the car.

This document contains the full name of the head of the traffic police department, as well as information about the compiler. The vehicle make, license plate number and VIN are provided. At the end, the date of compilation and the signature of the citizen are indicated.

Based on this application, the State Services preserve state license plates, which remain in the traffic police department. But you will have to print out such a statement and take it with you to the traffic police. It is advisable to immediately register at a department of the institution at a suitable time.

Legal requirements

According to Art. 12.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation, driving a car without license plates is punishable by a fine of 500 rubles; a repeated violation threatens to deprive the driver of the right to drive a vehicle for up to 3 months. A similar punishment will follow for the fact that the sign is not installed in accordance with the regulations.

Removing license plates from a car

On American SUVs, the regular “registration” space does not meet the standard of Russian license plates. In this case, you can put the numbers in a frame on the car and fix it on the roof. It is important to remember that the distance from the ground to the top of the number panel should not exceed 2 meters.

When choosing a car with a non-standard bumper, drivers notice that the standard mounting points for the license plate do not match the holes in the license plate. Considering that the license plate must be clearly readable, without damaging the information part, the option of opening the frame for the license plate, installing it on the bumper and fixing it in accordance with the regulations remains the best.

Shelf life

Before depositing the license plates with the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate through State Services, it is recommended to study the terms during which representatives of the institution are required to preserve the signs. Previously, it was allowed to leave signs for 180 days, but now this period has been increased to 360 days. Replacing a license plate on a car through State Services is offered on a paid basis, so you have to pay fees:

  • when issuing new signs, 2 thousand rubles are paid;
  • if adjustments are made to the PTS, then 350 rubles are paid;
  • For the production of STS, a fee of 500 rubles is paid.

Attention! If a person purchases a new car, then he has to pay 3 duties, so he spends 2850 rubles.

You can reduce the cost of registration if you pay the fee at State Services, as a 30% discount is offered. The process of saving old numbers is similar to the registration procedure.

Stages of installing and replacing a number

The rules allow the number plates to be installed in a frame, unless the registration plate is additionally covered with plexiglass. The frames are attached to the bumper with self-tapping screws and have several types of latches for fixing the plate with the number:

Only the owner can open the license plate on the car - all products have anti-vandal clips and fasteners.

Installation locations

Frames are installed in places specified by regulations. Metal frames are attached to the body with screws. To prevent corrosion at the points of contact between the screws and the metal, the screws and part of the bumper are treated with an anti-corrosion compound before installation. The best remedy, according to drivers' reviews, is a push-salon, into which the screw is dipped before screwing in.

To insert a car number into the frame, you will need a slotted screwdriver, which is convenient for moving the metal plate. For greater reliability, drivers attach the license plate to the panel with 2-3 self-tapping screws and only then use structural fasteners.

Place for mounting

In the book frame or Euro frame there is a folding panel that fixes the license plate around the perimeter. Polypropylene latches at the corners hold the panel securely. It is quite easy to remove the car number plate from the book frame, so additional screws are required.

The panel form has no moving parts. The design uses anti-vandal latches that hold the number. There is also additional fixation of the sign with two screws in the corners.

How to open/close number frame

While inserting a license plate into a frame on your car can take a few minutes, opening the panel can be difficult. The manufacturer uses anti-vandal latches, which break if opened incorrectly - it is impossible to steal the sign.

To open the panel in the book frame, you need to insert a thin screwdriver between the license plate and the panel strictly in the center of the folding part. Carefully unfasten the side “crocodiles” - the “book” will open.

Euro frames have small recesses on the side for a key with a plate. The original key is inserted into the slots and moves the internal lock. If you don't have a wrench at hand, you can use two slotted screwdrivers of the smallest size. They are inserted on both sides at the same time, they are also pressed at the same time - the side clamps move away, the number can be immediately removed.

What material to choose a sign frame from?

The chrome frame for the number is suitable for the central or northern region, where temperature changes prevail. Unlike plastic, chrome can withstand temperatures from -40 to +80 degrees. At the same time, the frame for a car license plate made of stainless steel is shock-resistant and almost scratch-resistant, and lasts 4 times longer than its plastic counterparts.

In turn, plastic frames are cheaper, this is especially true if you are purchasing this accessory for a car that is reaching its end of life. In addition, plastic is distinguished by its lightness and ease of installation, but it is still a rather rigid material.

But silicone frames for numbers are distinguished by their flexibility; they are a metal base covered with silicone. In this case, such an element can be bent so that it fits as tightly as possible to the bumper.

If we talk about the price of the issue, then a license plate frame (stainless steel) will cost about 600 rubles, and a plastic one from 50 rubles.

When choosing a number frame, it is important to take into account not only the material of the product, but also the fixation mechanism, of which there are several.

How to set/remove a number

Number frames are manufactured according to standards, the size of the product exactly matches the size of the license plate (tolerance - plus 5 mm around the perimeter). Drivers have no difficulties with installation.

In this case, the frames turn out to be very convenient: the sign can be installed in 1 minute, secured with standard fasteners. And then, if necessary, screw it to the body with screws. To remove the license plate frame from the car, you only need a set of screwdrivers.

How to leave a state registration certificate after deregistration?

Cost: 2,850 rubles – free when deregistering and 2,850 when registering another car with saved registration marks.

When deregistering a car from the traffic police, you can leave the license plates for the following reasons:

  • loss of car,
  • disposal,
  • export outside the Russian Federation.

And, accordingly, it will be impossible to leave license plates for storage when deregistered for the following reasons:

  • theft (hijacking) of a car,
  • after the sale of the car.

The impossibility lies in the fact that cars are stolen along with license plates, and therefore they are put on the wanted list along with the car. And after the sale, the car, as well as its gearbox, do not belong to you.

On the portal, a GI can be deregistered for almost all reasons, but it will also be necessary to indicate separately the need to deposit the license plate upon deregistration.

Fastening parts

The main fastening elements are galvanized screws for attaching the car number plate to the frame. Plastic fasteners remain additional fasteners, although they are considered quite durable and can withstand high mechanical pressure.

But since the screws provide end-to-end fixation of the metal plate and the metal number, the fastener is considered more reliable. Self-tapping screws are included, the standard length is up to 2 cm. They are screwed into the car body, bumper, trunk lid.

How to remove and repair a license plate frame Homemade mounting frame

A 5,000 ruble fine or deprivation of the right to drive vehicles for a period of 1 to 3 months can be received upon meeting with a traffic inspector for the absence of at least one license plate on a car while driving on the roads or for deliberately hiding even one number or letter on the license plate. The same punishment can be received if license plates are installed incorrectly, for example, if even one of them “looks” at the asphalt.

Driving a car without traffic license plates is only allowed for newly purchased cars within 10 days from the date of purchase. But if the license plates are received before the expiration date, then you can drive the car without violating the rules only after attaching them to it. Therefore, before going to the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate for license plates, you should take care in advance of installing their mounting frames or another method of installing them on the car.

A 500 ruble fine or a warning can be received if it is impossible to see even one letter or number on a license plate from a distance of 20 meters due to natural contamination - dirt or snow getting on the license plate. If you are stopped by an inspector and there is a suspicion that the license plates of the car are dirty, then in order to get off with only a warning, you need to first wipe the license plates with a pre-prepared napkin before communicating with the inspector.

You should not agree with the inspector when he tries to equate the contamination of car license plates with their absence and the imposition of a fine of 5,000 rubles or deprivation of rights for up to three months. This is an illegal requirement. The maximum penalty under the law for such a violation can only be a fine of 500 rubles.

Therefore, in order to avoid imposition of a fine or deprivation of driving privileges, it is necessary to correctly and securely attach the license plate and promptly clean its surface from dirt.

How to attach a license plate to a car (auto) - so as not to be stolen, in a frame

Today, without exception, all cars operated on the territory of the Russian Federation must be equipped with a unique state number.

However, upon resale, it will be possible to deal with it in different ways. It is worth considering this issue in advance in case of re-registration of the vehicle.

Installing a license plate number is a procedure that is carried out relatively infrequently by the car owner. This usually happens when replacing old registration plates with new ones or when purchasing a new vehicle.

That is why many simply do not pay enough attention to all the technical features of this kind of procedure and completely in vain.

Since violation of the rules for attaching license plates, their locations threaten quite serious problems with the law.

First of all, you should remember that the fine for driving a vehicle without a valid license plate number is quite large.

For 2021, the amount of such a fine is as much as 5 thousand rubles. In the Traffic Rules, these types of issues are discussed in sufficient detail.

Currently, serious violations include the following:

  • lack of registration plates;
  • the use of registration plates together with any technical means that prevent the recognition of information on them.

In addition to a fine, the owner of such a vehicle may be subject to another administrative penalty - deprivation of the right to drive a vehicle for a period of 1 to 3 months.

That is why the answer to the question about the location of the signs is clear.

Do-it-yourself plastic license plate holder repair

The license plate holder has been removed from the car, and now you can repair it yourself in a workshop.

As you can see in the photo, the cracked part of the frame is several millimeters thick. Therefore, it can be repaired by combining two technological methods - gluing and reinforcement with metal brackets.

Gluing the cracked part of the frame will not provide high reliability, and is only necessary for the convenience of installing brackets. In order not to wait long, gluing was done using Super Moment quick-setting adhesive.

Next, using an electric soldering iron, the joint was reinforced with two brackets made of copper wire for electrical wiring with a diameter of about 1 mm.

The brackets were recessed into the plastic flush with the surface of the frame and became almost invisible. For clarity, the photograph shows brackets that have not yet been melted over with plastic. Repair using thermal reinforcement of brackets in plastic provides a complete guarantee that the connection will never come apart.

To repair the plastic loop located on the top of the license plate holder, we had to use a slightly different technology.

Before the repair, the movable part of the license plate holder was fixed in its base and the crack was repaired using an electric soldering iron.

But reflow repairs cannot ensure a reliable connection, so an additional specially shaped bracket was bent from a paper clip, as shown in the photograph.

Next, the bracket was fused using a soldering iron into the number holder, as shown in the photo. The fused metal bracket will ensure high reliability of the connection.

The bracket was recessed into the body of the plastic, and all that remained was to level the surface with sandpaper. Despite the rigidity of the connection, the lower part of the frame tilted freely a couple of centimeters, which is quite enough to tuck a license plate into the license plate holder.

But the unexpected happened. The frost outside was more than 25°C, and after attaching the license plate holder to the car's bumper, it was impossible to attach the license plate to the holder. The plastic lost its elasticity from the cold, and the latches did not want to lock. I had to use plastic clamps again.

Making a metal car license plate holder with your own hands

Since it was not possible to secure the license plate in the plastic license plate holder after it was repaired in the cold, I had to make a new license plate holder with my own hands from scrap material.

There was a suitable sized aluminum plate with a thickness of 2 mm available, and it was decided to make a homemade license plate holder from it. Aluminum is lightweight, durable, easy to process and does not oxidize when exposed to precipitation. Dimensions were taken from the license plate and the drawing presented above was made.

The size of 150 mm was chosen based on the holes in the car bumper made earlier to secure the plastic license plate.

The number holder was cut from a sheet using a hacksaw, the corners were rounded with a flat file with a coarse notch. The holes are drilled using a drill with a metal drill. All that remains is to install the homemade license plate holder on the car bumper and secure the license plate to it with screws.

When attaching the license plate holder to the bumper, a difficulty arose with the screws. Since the license plate must fit tightly to the plane of the license plate, we needed plastic self-tapping screws with a countersunk head, a large thread pitch and so that the threads start at the head itself. Finding such a screw turned out to be problematic, but I remembered that in the computer power supply the cooler in its case is screwed with just such self-tapping screws with a diameter of 4 mm. I unscrewed the screws from the burnt out power supply.

A self-made license plate holder was screwed to the car bumper with self-tapping screws. For more reliable fastening, you can use screws with metric threads, threaded through the bumper, and screwed into nuts with wide washers located on the inside of it.

Although, according to the Requirements for installing state registration plates on vehicles, bolts or screws with heads that have the color of the sign field or light galvanic coatings must be used to secure them, I did not have any screws with beautiful heads on hand that meet these requirements. Therefore, I used it with a dark coating, since the diameter of their heads is only 3 mm larger than the holes in the license plate and at a glance it is practically not noticeable. In any case, the State Traffic Safety Inspectorate employees do not ask questions.

The screws used were M6 with a thread length of 10 mm, with a spherical head for a hex bit. To prevent spontaneous unscrewing of the threaded connection, a spring washer of the “grower” type was installed between the nut and a simple washer.

Now the license plate on the car is secure and looks elegant. I plan to replace the plastic holder for the mount and rear license plate with a homemade one in the near future.

How to secure your car

The World Wide Web is littered with various methods that describe the protection of a license plate, but often all of them are ineffective, and sometimes even turn an ordinary citizen into a criminal. When the state does nothing to protect its property (the number is considered state property), then you should protect it yourself. How to act to protect yourself from theft?

  1. Replacement of real license plates with copies (1000-10000 rubles). From a legal point of view, these are not duplicates, but real fakes, the use of which is punishable by law. The general formulation “knowingly false” is absent in the legislation of the Russian Federation, therefore it is possible to be right only in court, where in most cases the accused is found guilty. Duplicates of the originals are made of plastic or laminated paper, on aluminum plates, but copies do not have security elements or holograms. Disadvantages - copies will most likely also be stolen in the chaos, but thieves will no longer ask for ransom.
  2. Anti-vandal iron frames made of stainless steel (1000-10000 rubles). They are firmly fixed to the bumper. The license plate is attached using hidden bolts or a structure that covers the perimeter. The main disadvantages are that attackers can also have the keys to such bolts, so they do not always guarantee protection.
  3. Alarm system (1500-2500 rubles). Special sensors installed in the number frame are connected to a unified security alarm system. When contacting the bumper, the siren is activated. But still, not every owner will rush to the car at night. Disadvantages - it is possible to rip off a license plate very quickly in tens of seconds, and the siren will not prevent the thief from doing this.

Review of anti-vandal frames:

Method for 100 rubles

The key problem with the above methods is that the license plates are not held in any way from inside the car, so it is quite easy to rip them, along with a piece of material, from the bumper or trunk lid. To save your number, you simply need to purchase the most ordinary nuts, washers and bolts with a smooth head at the nearest hardware or furniture store. For this purchase you will pay a maximum of 100 rubles. And it’s true what they say: everything ingenious is simple!

In this option, it is necessary to secure the registration plates through and through, drilling through the corresponding element and the license plate itself. Since the holes will not be noticeable, the aesthetics will not suffer at all. Considering that the part is metal, it will have to be subjected to anti-corrosion treatment.

The protection and the entire operation consists of the following points.

  1. The car needs to be put on a lift.
  2. The bumper must be drilled and through holes obtained.
  3. The frame should be fixed.
  4. Secure the numbers and bolts.
  5. Tighten the nut and washer. If necessary, it is possible to take a washer of any size; for the complexity of removal, twelve millimeters is enough.
  6. The final stage is to install the bumper in place.

Anti-vandal fastening with screws

Thus, it is the vehicle owner himself who needs to worry about the safety of license plates. Of course, if necessary, attackers can remove the license plate in any way, for example, by tearing out a solid piece of the bumper. Only in this situation they should not hope for ransom. Actually, for this reason, thieves will try to find another car that was not protected from theft. Therefore, sometimes a slight difficulty in removing license plates will save your nerves and money.
